I’m Emily - a Registered Dietitian with a doctorate in clinical nutrition passionate about all things gut & digestive health.

The food you eat and your unique gut microbiome are powerful tools to influence health, reduce the effect of gastrointestinal disease, and promote longevity.

Diving into the field of digestive health opened my eyes to the fact that eating isn’t always an enjoyable experience for everyone, depending on the symptoms that followed or anxiety around food choices.

I dedicated my studies to gut health so that you can be nourished by the food you eat, improve your overall wellbeing through your gut microbiome, and feel good doing so!

Values & Approach

My passion for nutrition didn’t start with a textbook, or even with a love of cooking. It started with recognizing how powerful food can be. Food nourishes our bodies, connects us with others, and plays a central role in how we experience everyday life.

But when you’re living with digestive symptoms like bloating, constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux, or IBS, food can quickly become stressful instead of enjoyable. Many people begin to feel anxious around meals, constantly worrying about symptoms or avoiding foods they once loved.

As a registered dietitian specializing in gut health and digestive disorders, I help people better understand their symptoms and feel more confident in their food choices. My approach goes beyond simply identifying “trigger foods.” Digestion is closely connected to the gut-brain axis, meaning stress, nervous system regulation, sleep, and lifestyle habits all influence how your digestive system functions.

That’s why I combine evidence-based nutrition therapy with nervous system support, mindfulness practices, and sustainable lifestyle strategies to help improve digestive symptoms while supporting a healthy relationship with food.

Because every digestive system is unique, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Together, we’ll take a personalized approach to managing your symptoms, expanding your “safe foods,” and rebuilding trust with your body, so you can spend less time worrying about your digestion and more time enjoying food and life.
